"Spirit in Nature" reinterprets the historical site of Jangchung through Eastern philosophies that view all living beings and matter as spiritually interconnected. Set in a submerged post-climate future, the work envisions a sanctuary where memories and the resilient spirit of nature re-emerge from the depths.

Combining motion capture, AI, and real-time 3D animation, the project creates an immersive media environment where architectural forms, bodily movement, and fluid ecosystems converge. Through contemplative sound and speculative worldbuilding, the work reflects on memory, coexistence, and humanity’s reconnection with nature.

"Spirit in Nature"는 만물이 본래 살아 있으며 생명력을 지닌 존재라는 철학적 사유를 탐구하는 작품으로, 동아시아 전통 사상인 범신론적 자연관과 ‘정중동(靜中動)’의 개념을 사변적 렌즈를 통해 재해석한다.기후 위기 이후 물에 잠긴 미래 세계를 배경으로, 작품은 심연 속에서 다시 깨어나는 자연의 회복력과 기억의 성소를 구현한다. 모션 캡처, AI, 실시간 3D 애니메이션을 결합하여 구조와 신체 움직임, 유동적 생태계가 교차하는 몰입형 환경을 형성하며, 기억과 공존, 인간과 자연의 연결성을 사유하게 한다.
