<하이브리드 네이처>는 인류에게 직면한 기후 위기와 환경에 대한 의식을 동양 고유의 사상과 원형을 토대로 인간과 자연이 하나로 연결된 가상의 세계를 제안한다. 생명이 내재하고 있는 미시적 세계의 아름다움을 발견하고 그 안에 깃든 무한한 세계를 가상의 공간으로 확장하였다.

관객은 아바타가 되어 동서양의 신화, 역사, 문화가 혼재된 세계를 탐험하며 만물을 이루는 다섯 가지 물질, 오행을 모티브로 한 가상 세계를 유영한다. 극한의 기후 변화, 유전적 변이와 키메라적 상상력으로 빚어진 동식물이 혼재한 초현실적 환경을 조형과 음악, NFT아트 등 공감각적으로 만나게 된다. 이 작품을 마주하며 우리는 생명에 대한 본질적 가치를 발견하고 인간과 자연의 유기적 관계성 그리고 생명의 생성, 소멸, 순환의 의미를 경험할 수 있다.

<Hybrid Nature> is a project that proposes a future ecosystem by exploring oriental philosophies raising awareness about the climate crisis and environmental issues. Viewers will become avatars and explore a virtual world based on the five elements, while encountering a surreal environment shaped by extreme climate change, genetic mutations. Through this work, viewers can experience the interconnected relationship between human and nature and the meaning of creation, destruction, and circulation of life.
