HYPER CONNECTION 

Hyper Connection은 동양의 원형 중 생명의 순환과 생성, 소멸이 교차하는 물의 속성과 의미에 주목하여

창작자 고유의 세계관을 가상 세계로 구현한 메타버스 아트이다.

 

물은 태초에 존재했으며 역사나 우주 순환의 종말에 다시 돌아가야하는 본체로 생명과 치유, 정화의 의미를 지닌다.

본 작품은 물을 모티프로 하여, 신화적 상상력에 과학적 근거를 더해 창조한 근미래의 세계에 관객을 초대한다.

이 세계는 과거와 미래, 인간과 비인간, 자연과 생명이 하나로 연결된 초현실적 환경이다.

Chat GPT, 생성형 AI와의 협업으로 탄생한 이 세계의 생명체들은 극한의 기후 변화와 유전적 변이를 거듭하며 나타난 혼성 생명체로

관객은 작품 속에서 이들을 관찰하며 먼 미래의 단서들을 찾아감으로써 자신만의 서사를 만들어 나가게 된다.

​작품은 이 같은 가상의 공간을 탐색하는 과정에서 다차원적 감각을 확장하고, 미래의 생명과 환경에 대해 생각해볼 것을 기대한다.

Hyper Connection focuses on the element of water. Water has various meanings of life, death and rebirth.

Water existed in the beginning will return to end of history, embracing the meaning of life, healing, and purification. 

Project invites the audience to a near-future which is mixed with mythological imagination and scientific figures and mingled into a  surreal environment where past and future, humans and non-humans, nature and life are inter-connected. ​

 

Hybrid plants and animals are created with collaboration with Chat GPT and generative AI, that emerged through extreme climate changes and repeated genetic mutations. The audience creates their own narrative by observing them in the work and looking for clues to the distant future. ​ ​The work is expected to expand multidimensional senses and think about future life and the environment in the process of exploring this virtual space.
