"Digital Wonderland" 2017

Digital Wonderland is a multimedia exhibition directed by Bosul Kim with Seoul Institute of the Arts program as Culturehub Live Animation program. What is art’s role in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution? Where is art headed? The exhibition that pushes to answer these questions as held  in heart of Seoul and downtown Los Angeles. The work provided audience an experience of futuristic arts such as augmented reality (AR), projection mapping, and media performance. In particular, it reinterprets the traditional folktale "SanHaeKyung (Mountain Sea Kingdom)", which deals with mythological characters and animals of the Korean culture using multimedias.

“디지털 원더랜드”은 서울예술대학교 특성화사업의 일환으로 컬쳐허브 라이브애니메이션 프로그램의  김보슬이 교수진과 학생들과 발표한 프로젝트이다. 4차산업혁명시대에 인간과 예술의 역할은 무엇일까라는 고민에서 시작하여 우리가 속한 한국 전통의 정체성에 대해 원형의 발굴과 현대적 해석을 하고자 하였다.  동양 설화 “산해경”, 문자도 등 한국의 정체성을 미디어아트, 증강현실, 프로직션 맵핑 및 미디어 포퍼먼스 등과 접목함으로써 오늘날의 이상향과 꿈의 세계를 표현한다. ​
