The Vibration of my Breath

Don’t we all wear masks? Social Programming of gender roles- aren’t they mere masks? Masks used to hide ones true self, or to suppress others. These masks are assumed to be our identity, but what if we were to look at ourselves from the eye behind this mask.“Vibration of my breath” is a collaboration performance with dance, video, music, light. Starting with the theme of duality, the piece tells one person confronting another existence of oneself, struggling between them and embracing itself.

우리 모두 가면을 쓰지 않는가? 자신의 진실된 자아를 숨기거나 성역할에 따른 사회적 프로그래밍에 의해 자신을 억압하고 숨기고 있지 않는가?  이 가면은 우리의 정체성으로 간주되지만, 이 가면 뒤의 시점에서 스스로를 볼 수 있다면 어떨까? "The Vibration of my Breath"은 댄스, 영상, 음악, 조명 디자인과 협업한 미디어 퍼포먼스이다. 인간의 이중성이라는 주제로 또다른 자아를 마주함과 그를 포용하는 내용을 담고 있다.
