SHADOW, MY SHADOW
“Shadow, My Shadow” is a multimedia performance that follows a girl on her path to self-discovery with choreography, video and drawn animation. Lost beneath layers of worldly masks she seeks to find her true self and plunges deep into the fathoms of her mind, the consciousness of her soul. At the bottom of this ocean she encounters a mysterious creature: her own shadow.
Shadow my Shadow는 멀티미디어 퍼포먼스로 자아의 깊은 내면을 맞이하며 겪는 여정을 영상, 안무, 애니메이션의 여러 요소들이 결합된 작품이다. 동양화의 미를 캔버스 위에 머무르지 않고 디지털 미디어와 결합하여 새로운 공간을 창조하였다.
화선지 위 붓자국들이 만들어내는 공간에 생기는 점은 살아 숨쉬고, 주인공은 깊은 내면의 세계로 들어가게 된다. 자아와 그림자, 상상 속의 동물들과 생명체들을 만나며 여정의 끝에 다시 점으로 돌아온다. 이는 지속되는 순환, 성장, 발견의 연속성을 말하며 원 안에 시작과 끝은 하나라는 것을 표현한다.
